A fantastic opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team in the Central!

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet & Logistics Officer to oversee our vehicle fleet operations and support the efficient movement of goods, equipment, and personnel. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational effectiveness, compliance, safety, and cost-efficient logistics processes.

Location: RCM – Suva Garage

Reporting to: Group Fleet Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, tracking, and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics activities such as transport planning, route optimization, delivery scheduling, and inventory movement.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle performance to ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet records, reports, and documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and drivers to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Support procurement of fleet-related supplies and ensure stock availability (e.g., spare parts, fuel cards, tools).
  • Implement and enforce fleet policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, and logistical challenges as needed.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps and recommend improvements in fleet and logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, road safety regulations, and transport planning.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with fleet management systems, GPS tracking tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to operational needs.
  • Valid driver’s license (added advantage)
